I Remember a 39" snow storm that year. It was the first season living at my new place. That was a fun Nor-easter to watch, I remember the snow melting very fast even though it was super cold after that storm. Your S. Mag was mini then, amazing how fast it grew over the years.

Another thing about nana seeds is the fresher the better. They can take for ever to germinate if there not fresh. I have hundreds of velutina babies that came up super fast, but they where right off the plant fresh.

Yep, Since last year we only got 24" of snow for the entire winter. South of here is where they got bombed with snow from DC to NJ. I took some pictures with my phone yesterday, I'll try to get a few of them posted.
