(my neighbor still giving me crap about all the hay in his pool.. :lol) They re growing at their normal rate. I've since planted 2 Ensetes, we shall see what this winter does to those.... Welcome Chris, those Trachys look great. If you have a pic of your Oleanders, I'd be curious to see if they die back every year, or if you protect them. I'm on the North Shore of lake Ontario and even after this past winter, my hardy Pinks have come back to form a nice shrub-like plant.

The Trachy looks great, just a little normal transplant shock. Leave it as is and ensure you have consistent watering by yourself every other day, once or twice at least with a Root Booster slow release fertilizer. If it rains every other day, that will make your life easier, but the root fertilizer...

Try not to overthink it. I think you did the right first aid treatment. If it's not pulled, leave it alone. By May/June, it'l take off. I have the same situation with a Sabal minor. Spear is solid and fronds are burnt, but alive. Alive is all that matters.

The enclosure seems t be the right size, and warm enough, however: 2 things that cause mold: 1) no ventilation in the enclosure, for the damp air to rotate.. dryer the better. See some of Beny's posts. 2) Make sure before you store the palm in the enclosure, you spray with a fungicide to prevent any...

Yes, because if you get moisture freezing and thawing constantly in the crown area, this can damage the tender parts and cause Pathogens to infiltrate.. hence the fungicide. Best to use a frost cloth to wrap so it can breath and you'll be fine. See my Youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/wa...

Welcome aboard!

Green means clean! Give them a shot of fungicide when above 5C. Let air dry. Do your best to keep them dry for the next couple of weeks, and water them slightly with lukewarm water.

Enjoy!

Tony, with all that shrink wrap, hopefully it has a chance to breath, but keeping it dry is key. With temps yo-yo-ing this time of year, the lows have to be more consistent.
