Has anyone tried to grow a pineapple plant from the top of a pineapple? I have one about a year old and was wondering when they start to grow a pineapple.

What type of weather station would anyone suggest getting? I have heard of Oregon Scientific? I only need one with one or two temperature sensors for now. Any suggestions would be great.

Does anyone know what kind of cactus this is?
I picked it up at a grocery store unlabelled. It looks like it's from the Escobaria sp. but i'm not sure?

Yucca recurvifolia
Has anyone grown Yucca recurvifolia? I heard that this yucca only has a life span of 5-20 years. Looks like an interesting yucca. I was thinking of getting a couple 1 gallon size ones this spring.
