Why no heat? Frankly, I'm not optimistic. Distance to electric outlet? Try a long cord. If that won't work, you can put plastic milk jugs full of hot tap water under the protection every evening. Got this today and repotted since it came bare root caryota mitis var. palm is about 12 inchs tall and I got a steal on it due to some cold damage. can't wait till it starts sending up new canes. the variegation is pretty heavy as well so it might be awhile. http://i337.photobucket.com/albums/n370/...
