This should protect it from dry indoor winter air. Thanks for the recommendation, Jim. I was wondering about what I would do, we have gene...

He should be a great addition, any home coconut palm tips would be greatly appreciated as I have heard they aren't the easiest to grow inside. ...

I would never spend $40 on a fishtail, actually I'd never actually buy a fishtail with any money... you'll have to package something else with it if you wanted to give me one for free

Thanks for the comments guys. I can't wait until the sylvestris is 10 feet tall. That will be a sight. My street doesn't have much traffic, so I don't get a lot of people stopping and unfortunately no one else is growing palms in the neighborhood. Maybe not the neighborhood, but same region!

Re: Where can I buy Cold Hardy Palm seedlings for Zone 5 or

I am interested in where I can purchase Cold Hardy Palm seedlings for Zone 5 or 6. I bought some seeds for some varieties that are cold hardy to those zones, but didn't have luck with germination. I thought maybe I would try starting with seedlings and providing them with mulch and or some other so...
