Are the seeds on a Trachy located within this flowering stem or do they produce fruit like a Butia?

I have several mature Trachys growing in my neighborhood. I have noticed some with flowers. It doesn't appear that the seeds are located within these flowers. Are the seeds found within these flowering stems or do they emerge separately? Pictures would be great if anyone has some.
