I really wouldn't worry about the heat and humidity for a Trachy there. I've seen these in Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas NV, also, as posted above, they grow in heat and humidity along the gulf coat, granted, they don't look their best in the hottest climates but the problem isn't how hot it gets really...
