Wow that's a really nice pool post Brandon. But this is a palm forum. Yeah, most of us enjoy your pictures but this is a hardy palm forum, not a plant my pool forum. Lets see some palms planted not cement blocks.

I'm glad to see things are growing well for you. I can't remember did that banana go through last winter in the ground? The color on that olive is beautiful, I love foliage that looks like that.

You'll be fine planting them there it won't hurt anything. I would also go ahead and plant the palms now, like you said you have lots of backups. They will grow faster in the ground anyways.

That's cool about the palm sales John. That's interesting about pollinating the palms that way with spray bottle.

Those flowers are looking like Monday will work out just fine for you. It's really cool to watch the the seeds develop, I gives us something else fun to watch in the garden.

That's really funny about getting some business out of doing a nice thing. :D Barb, I recommend using the pollen in a 3-4 different applications a couple hours apart. I've been pretty busy here. The first plants only went in the ground are the first of June, such a crapped out spring here but not as bad as others so I'll bite my tongue. I need to look back on posts to see how things are doing for you.

Great post Cameron! I read what Bob from Winston-Salem wrote about them tasting much better then brown turkey (which I have) plus the part about figs on new growth is really cool too. I'm going to look into getting one now, there are some huge tree's around here that I come across from time to time....
