Re:

Would you please specify were this "Warm water fish in the warm springs" is located? It's too funny seeing Eastern Africa Grate Lakes chichlid fishes in USA... Surprised! Sorry it took so long to reply. They were in warm water springs, and that is how the alligators survives the winters a...

Nice pics, love those stressed out cacti. The colors are awesome, reminds me of aloes in spring. That agave v-r is huge, the one in bloom at PDN is only about 18" wide. But with the lack of precip and nutrients will allow them to grow forever there. It will interesting to see the "stresse...

Thank you guys for the nice comments. I have fun looking for the unusual plants in areas. I try not to post too many pics of palms in Yuma AZ or other almost frost-free areas. I love the areas where temps can and do get down in the teens or colder in the winter. I'm sorry I did not have a chance to ...

Re: Loving this winter!

It hit 23 oC yesterday in Manzanita! It is 3 oC now in Tulsa. Chilly, but not bad. Esp. compared to five years ago today when it was "colder than the South Pole" with an all-time record low of -35 oC. So, no complaints from me. But, W stills wants us to move to Florida. :D Cool, I think I...

Video with snow near the border.

Seems like more and more snow down in the SW. I read some news the other day that Northern Mexico had up to a foot of snow. Here is a zone 8 with palms, if you watch close. And yes another Bisbee AZ video lol. I should be down there in a week and a half. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7lnDM7zVlM
