Hey Jim. They seem to not mind the wetness as much as B. Armata. Armata usually looks like crap up here and decline gradually to a slow death. B. Edulis looks great and puts out about as many fronds per year pound for pound. However they are tender into the low 20's so keeping them dry is a must to ...

Looking for Brahea Edulis

So some reason I am having a helluva time finding B. Edulis in shippable sizes here in the U.S. BC seems to have them but unless you live in California and want something with like 3 ft of trunk seems you are out of luck. At this point I'll take seeds but prefer plants. And it's such a hassle to get...

Adam if this was March or April I would jump on it but being January and with small seedlings I will decline for now. If you don't have seeds and it's spring I might just look you up again.

Doubt you're heading north since all the highways in BC Interior are closed   But I've got a whack of Deglet Noor, some Medjools of seedlings. None of the other stuff you want. Tall skinny one-leafed things shown nearest the camera: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/southslope/82...

Want to trade for CIDP, Phoenix Sylvestris and L. Chinensis

I am looking for fresh seeds (or seedlings) of the above species. I have several varieties of cold hardy palm seeds. I don't know exactly what at this minute (making this post away from home) but if you have what I'm looking for ask me and I'll see if I've got them.

Cleaning Phoenix Dactylifera Seeds

I have tried multiple times to germinate true date palm seeds in the past and have had all of them grow mold. The reason being more than likely I left too much flesh on the seeds and maybe more water retention in my mix. So my question is what is the best method of removing the flesh on the seeds? I...
