Hi All, I just got this windmill palm from home depot. It is in a 5 gallon pot It has 13 inches of trunk. stands a little over 3 feet tall,and the trunk diameter is 7 inches. I paid 79.00 for it. I hope it was a good deal. this one was 3 times the size of the other ones.Made my day:) I also am ...

Hi Allen,That is a very good guess looking at my picture. I would say 3 by 5 feet is right.

I have a few clumps of musa basjo growing in the yard.The 1st plant was bought off ebay 6 years ago. Well my Pindo palms made through the cold snap. Thanks for all the tips. Here in Hendersonville, NC temp got down to 12 degrees. After I wrap them up I added a 75 watt light to each palm. Thanks Randy, Winter weather temps swing wild here. Highs tomorrow around 28 low 14. Very cold through thursday nite then back up into the 50's low's upper 20,s. I am posting a picture of how I wraped the pindo's up. Crude I know but it seems to be working .Tom http://www.postimage.org/Pq3rLXMi.jpg

Thanks. I have 2 of the pino's they still look great. Very little leaf burn. I have them wraped up tonite in a thermal planket. We have had nite time temps in the upper teen,s but wendsday's low is supose to be 14. I hope they make it. I got them at home depot in the spring,so I got the 1 year ...
