Spring update, or... downdate.

Hello, I haven't been around for quite awhile. Work picked up and I am finishing up my associates degree so I haven't had much chance to stop by. My Pygmy Date Palm is in some pretty bad shape, it didn't like the indoors too well. I have it outside now that temps aren't going below the mid 40's at n...

Thank you. I did look at Lowes and a Menards, they have some grow lights, but it never says anything specific other than its a T8 bulb, I think I seen a T5? (Not sure which is better.) They did say full spectrum so I'm assuming thats good. Anything else I should look for? (luminaries or etc?)

You may have closed the window that asked if you wanted to run the install, if you saved the file it shoul...

I bought my Butia capitata and Livistona chinensis seeds from www.banana-tree.com. The seeds arrived at my house within ten days. Still waiting for them to pop. But the site seems awesome, they do have tons of stuff.

Trying to decide

I have decided I would like to by a nice palm for the indoors. I took a look at the local greenhouse today and found some Sago's (yeah I know its not really a palm. :) ), a few pygmy date palms, a lovely Chinese fan palm, which I would get but I don't have room for a 7 footer at the moment. They sai...
