Max, thank you very much for your kind offer but I collected a lot of seeds of the different palms being in Napoli in 2013. Since my climate is not suitable for the palms growing I didn't started germinating them focusing on Yucca plants cultivation instead (thanks to Tim for sharing with the hybrid...

I have a different experience with the sabal seedlings. I've got a bunch of them bare root from Canada a few years ago and they have been travelling to my home in Kazakhstan for three weeks at least. No one died. And what is more all of them still sit in small pot. Years they are not growing but not...

Barb, my Mom does... Every f...g day. That's why I'm very angry on her - hot and age. By the way we started picking up and sharing through the relatives and the friends tomatos and sweet papers from the new plot. Thanks to my Mom (seeds sowed on a middle of January) and to the hot... And thanks to m...

Started planted a garden on a newly gotten land plot. Many ornamental shrabs and trees already planted there. Potato, tomato, peper and etc are an asset. Pics a little bit later. A lot of water is needed - plus 37C is a temp. record so far. A little money to pay for watering.... Bad news - winters a...

Unlikely if any Eastern (Japanese) persimmon tree would survive the Ontarian winter. I have one self fertile variety growing in a pot. Looks like I'm gonna get a few fruits by the end of the season... I have two Diospyros lotus (date-plum) plants which planted in my garden this spring. So will see w...

I managed to get the nitida up here in the back of a truck. Its a 12 hour drive from toronto to here lol. Humber w...

Thanks everyone for the kind comments! Barb, perhaps 1 m of snow is beneficial for a few days but for four months? Actually in January we got more than two months amount of snow.... And February was three time colder than usual. Andy, this nana is two years seedling from the http://www.koehres-kaktu...
